       Shandong Jiahe methyl Chemical Co., Ltd independently develops and produces refined oil-field chemicals and MMT. The company was founded in September 2004 and is located in the interior region of Shandong Shengli Oil Field, neighboring with China University of Petroleum (CUP). With the technique support from CUP and Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, and with a total investment of 30 million RMB, and an area of 20 thousand square meters, the company has established the first MMT production ancillary facility with methylation and carbonylation. This has filled a gap in the field of MMT in China.
         

The new CMT series of products developed independently by Shandong Jiahe methyl Chemical Co., Ltd, including (MMT) and MCPD are characterized in improving Petrol Octane Value, lowering cost in oil conduction, lowering polluted discharge and protecting environment. In 2006, the products passed the achievements appraisal organized by Department of Science and Technology of Shandong Province. And its MMT has reached the leading domestic and the world's advanced level; in 2008, it was awarded the National Certification Of high-tech products from the Ministry of Science and Technology of PRC, the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of The PRC and the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the PRC. MMT is the specified added component for GB17930－2006 in the National Vehicle Petrol Standard. Since 2006, Shandong Jiahe methyl Chemical Co., Ltd has been the first-level MMT supply for China National Petroleum Corporation, thus breaking the overseas Congeneric Products monopoly. And it has offered reliable and good-qualified service for large and medium oil refinery enterprises such as Petrol China and Chem China, and has contributed for lowering costs and improving efficiency. In 2009, the company’s products was successfully exported to Europe Union, achieving the advance to foreign market.
